The Applied Faculty at King Abdulaziz University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Axantia Pharmaceutical Industries on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the faculty headquarters.
The agreement aims to provide training programs that equip students with the knowledge and skills required in the pharmaceutical sector by integrating the Applied Pharmacy Technician Program with practical training. It also explores opportunities to expand cooperation across all related fields.
The memorandum seeks to prepare graduates for the Saudi labor market, support research projects and consultancy services, and promote the exchange of expertise in scientific, academic, technical, research, and applied fields. It further encourages faculty members, researchers, and students to engage in exchange visits and to participate in conferences, workshops, and meetings at both the local and international levels.
The MoU was signed on behalf of the university by Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Balubaid, Dean of the Applied Faculty, and on behalf of Axantia by Dr. Faisal Al-Tlasi, General Manager of the company.
